Welcome to The Good Life!

This blog will become your plant-based home... Indeed, welcome to the good life.

The photograph below of me was taken at North Park Mall by my Granddaughter Riley. It pays homage to my praying hands' stances over the years. I have receipts (smiling) don't make me pull out my photo book.

"Plant-based Eating Is the Good Life Family!

Because each day we wake up, we should welcome the good life, and feel gratitude. We still have the breath of life in us which means we can still heal and be healed. Love and be loved. Engage in opportunities to make those necessary changes in our lives we know we need to make. So welcome, welcome family. We are here together, like a mound of sweet potatoes. ***Laughing...

This blog is dedicated to all the wonderful plant-based people out there, who are living their best lives after leaving meat behind. But it is also for those not quite there, thinking about it and going back and forth. Life happens... Here, we will be discussing various topics related to health, wellness, travel, meal plans, gardening, and much more.

Just know the facts... I am a senior citizen.

Praying hands at North Park Mall

They say age is just a number, but I don't know about that family. I am living my best life, finally at sixty years under the sun. I am a proud GG to seven grandkids and Mom to three adult children. I have been blessed with a fulfilling life, full of hard knocks but overwhelming blessings. I want to share my life experiences with all of you. If anything, I mention helps you grow in some way, my mission is successful. Through this blog, I hope to inspire and motivate everyone to eat better, love deeper, and live life to the fullest.

What You Can Expect

In the upcoming blog posts, you can expect to read about my personal experiences, get business tips, grab free recipes, purchase recipes, and get sound advice. We will explore various aspects of youth, aging, eating to live, spirituality, and life itself. I will also be inviting guest bloggers to share their expertise and experiences from all walks of life and all ages.

Before I wrap up, I want to remind you that food is not just physical nourishment, but it can also have spiritual significance. We are getting back to natural ways of thinking and living. I hope you enjoyed reading my first blog post. I want to encourage you to leave a comment below and tell me what you think.
